Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how Bike Fit Studio – Costa Blanca collects and uses personal data when you visit this website, contact us, book a bike fit or have a bike fit at our studio. Last updated: 28 September 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Onlinestrategi / Bike Fit Studio Iversen, a Norwegian sole proprietorship (enkeltpersonforetak), organisation number 816 159 172, registered address Vollane 2, 5105 Eidsvåg i Åsane, Norway, trading as Bike Fit Studio – Costa Blanca. What data we collect and why

When you contact us. If you use the contact form or email or call us, we process your name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message, so that we can answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps prior to entering into a contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

When you book a bike fit. We process your name, email address, phone number, the service, date and time you choose, and anything you write in the details field. We use this to manage your appointment, confirm it and contact you about it. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

During and after your bike fit. We record information about your riding, goals, body measurements, flexibility, bike and position measurements, and 3D motion data from Retül and Leomo. We send you a written report by email and keep a copy so that we can follow up and compare with future fits. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Information about your health. If you tell us about pain, injuries or other health matters, in the booking form or during the fit, this is health data, a special category of personal data. We only use it to adapt your bike fit, and we process it on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)), which you give by sharing it with us. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out, but we may not be able to take the information into account in your fit.

Invoicing and accounting. We keep payment and invoicing records as required by Spanish tax and accounting law (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Website statistics. Only if you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). See our cookie policy.

Website operation. Our web server records technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who we share your data with

We never sell your personal data. We only share it with service providers that help us run the business, under data processing agreements:

• Our web hosting provider, PRO ISP AS, which hosts the website, the booking system and form submissions on servers in Norway (EEA).
• Our email provider, which delivers booking confirmations, messages and fit reports.
• Google Ireland Limited, for Google Analytics (only with your consent) and the Google Maps map on our Location page.
• Our accountant and the tax authorities, where required by law.

We may also share your fit measurements with Premium Bike Rental at Hotel Cap Negret, but only if you ask us to so that a rental bike can be set up to your position.

Transfers outside the EEA

Google may process data in the United States. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and transfers are also covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep your data

• Contact form messages and emails: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless they lead to a booking.
• Booking details: for the time needed to manage your appointment, then up to 3 years so we can help you with follow-up questions or a new fit.
• Bike fit data and reports, including health information you shared: up to 5 years after your last fit, so we can compare with future fits, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
• Invoicing and accounting records: 6 years, as required by Spanish law.
• Google Analytics data: 14 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To use your rights, email post@bikefitstudio.es. We will reply within one month.

If you think we have not handled your data correctly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).

Security

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to booking and client data is limited to the bike fitter. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
